Join us and make your very own willow bird feeder. The beautiful creations make an eco-friendly, attractive addition to any garden. Filled with fatballs, it will entice the local birdlife to visit. Perfect to make for yourself or to gift to a loved one this Christmas!

Rachel Kirk weaves handmade, eco-friendly, sustainable items for the house and garden from willow. She loves to experiment with different weaves and varieties of willow to add texture and interest to her designs.

This workshop is a good introduction to basketry techniques for beginners. You will learn how to do a three-rod wale and have the opportunity to practice pairing. All materials and tools will be provided by Rachel who will take you through the weaving process step-by-step. It is suitable for everyone except those with hand/joint mobility issues.
