The SBC is a membership organisation and meets regularly in different venues offering members the chance to get together to share skills and discuss business. Membership is open to all.

The cost for annual subscription for membership is:

  • Standard: £25 (UK)
  • Joint: £32 (two membershps at one address)
  • UK Low Income: £18
  • Overseas: £30 (Overseas applications should be paid in Pounds Sterling)

Newsletter

The SBC newsletter is a printed biannual newsletter sent biannually with subjects of interest, details of courses, events and exhibitions, reports of recent events and much more

Annual Gathering

Held in the autumn in a different location each year. We invite tutors from across the UK to share their knowledge with workshops, talks and time to catch up with fellow members

Library

The SBC library is well stocked with over 200 titles. As a member you can browse the online library and request to borrow titles which will be posted to you. Many of these books are hard to find.
