I started learning how to make willow baskets in 2020 with Anna Liebmann in Edinburgh. My passion was ignited and I couldn't get enough of weaving from then on. I did some more classes with Anna, as well as with Eddie Glew, Anna Turnbull and Hanna van Aelst in Ireland. In 2022 I went to the Westhope College, in Shropshire to do the City and Guilds Level 2 in Basketry, which I completed in June 2023. I was also lucky enough to be a regular student of the PACC basket weavers intermediate class, formerly tutored by Pen Wilson, Katie Warner, and Sandra Scholes. I have been back to Eddie Glew and Hanna Van Aelst to learn new skills over the last five years as well.
I offer one to one or two tuition, basket workshops of up to 12 people, demos. I occasionally get the chance to make my own baskets to sell too!
I am a member of Scottish Basketmaker's Circle, The Basketmaker's Association, and Heritage Crafts.

Round Basket Workshop Days
(For beginners and improvers alike, make a lovely round basket at whatever skill level you are at. If you are a beginner you will perhaps make an egg basket or a berry basket, or if you have a little more experience you can make a round basket with a more complex rod border, and learn new weaves. Or perhaps you would like to make an asymmetric basket or a kindling basket with inset handles.)
Round Basket Workshop days run from 930-530pm and cost £100 per person unless otherwise stated. Choose your date from the following:-

Sweet Pea/Bean Support Workshops
