Basket Making with Martin Hazell

Martin is best known as a carver of wooden spoons, but he trained as a basketmaker many years ago, and was a full-time maker and teacher for over fifteen years. We will be making a fruit picking basket from willow, which you can use for fruit or tools or anything you like! Drawing on traditional techniques from England and France, Martin will coax you through the construction of a beautiful and useful basket. This project is suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience. And Martin promises it will be a lot of fun!
