Join Max Johnson from Seileach Basketry for a fun, relaxed introduction to willow weaving at the National Museum of Rural Life.

Choose from two half-day workshops where you will create your own willow bird feeder or willow platter. Both hands-on workshops are suitable for beginners, and you can choose to book one or both sessions.

Led by artist and forager Max Johnson, in each workshop you will learn basketry techniques that have been used in Scotland and throughout Europe for hundreds of years. All materials and equipment will be provided.
