I started weaving in my late twenties. I am a member of the Scottish Basketmakers’ Circle, Heritage Crafts Association, the Basketmakers Association and am certified with Scottish Working Wood. I make a selection of products to order, take commissions, have larger pieces available for sale on my website and smaller pieces on my Etsy shop. My studio is open by appointment if you would like to come and look for a basket or discuss a project.
I grow a lot of my own willow in Lanarkshire, and am a land partner at Lauriston Farm in Edinburgh where I am planting new willow patches.
I offer private tuition and classes from my workshop, and also teach short courses at Central Scotland School for Craft, and other organisations locally and nationally, or privately by invitation.
