1-3 March 2024.
Somerset House, London.
Craft Scotland returns to Collect, the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design, with our ninth presentation in March 2024.
Held at Somerset House in London, the 20th edition of the Fair will run from 1-3 March 2024, with previews 28-29 February and visitors can interact online at Artsy.net for a further week.
Craft Scotland will present a collection of exciting new work from 12 Scotland-based makers: Andrew Lamb, Emma Louise Wilson, Heather McDermott, Iona Turner, Jo McDonald, Jo Walker, Katie Charleson, Liu Qiwei, Marianne Anderson, Richard Goldsworthy, Stefanie Ying Lin Cheong, Susie Redman.
Susie Redman has been selected to show her work. Over the past few years Susie has been growing and processing flax for spinning into linen and growing willow for sculptural weaves in her plot. Her creative practice explores connections and synergy between loom woven cloth, and other natural fibres such as paper and home grown willow. The work speaks of a personal narrative about growing, harvesting, processing and making, with the maker as a constituent part of an ecological cycle.
11am to 6pm, Admission from £21.00
