Bookings are open for competition entries, craft market stalls and skills demonstrations for the Scottish Smallholder Festival in the autumn. Join in a celebration of the smallholding year showcasing smaller scale producers giving an opportunity for those interested in rural life to get a close up view including skills and livestock that are not in the mainstream.
We focus attention on the 20,000 smallholdings across Scotland farming less than 20 hectares
We aim to inform, educate and inspire current and future smallholders and the general public

The Smallholder Market – new for 2024, a range of small businesses in typical Market stalls selling meat products, baked goods, preserves, dairy and other goods from the farm.

The Craft Zone – in an agreement with Craft Fair experts 3D2D, this years craft zone will be even bigger and better featuring crafters from all over the country.
