Join Max at his cosy yurt-workshop in Blanefield to weave your very own foraging/shopping basket. This is a 2-day class which serves as a perfect introduction to the craft for complete beginners, while also offering opportunities to further develop skills for those who’ve woven before. We’ll cover the fundamental skills of round willow basketry, such as pairing, waling, randing, borders and wrapped handles. All tools and materials are provided.

The class will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday 18-19th April. My workshop is just outside of Strathblane/Blanefield, which is 30 minutes North of Glasgow. I will provide tea and coffee, please bring a packed lunch with you.
