Join local basketmaker Karla Pearce to weave a stunning rope coil round basket at Bowden Village Hall, set in a peaceful Borders village at the foot of the Eildons near Melrose.

During the weekend you will learn:
-how to create a 4 x 4 round base in a slightly different way
-how to weave the rope coil and reverse rope coil
-how to shape your basket
-how to lay down the border and trim the basket

Some previous basketry experience will be helpful. This is not a basket for a complete beginner.
