The Stables Gallery at Falkland Estate, Fife

Room 003 is a group of four like-minded but totally different women artists and makers who have been working together regularly since early 2022. They all have a strong interest in their environment and landscape, and deep connections to Fife.
Room 003 includes:
Lise Bech, basketmaker of international repute whose work has just been selected for the Scottish Arts Trust Landscape Awards 2023. She describes her work as a conversation between maker and materials – most often Scottish-grown willow, here with novel woven bark pouches. Her inspiration comes from the landscape, natural world and her glorious garden.

The venue is a beautiful designed landscape park where you may walk freely eg the waterfall at Maspie Den. There’s a cafe for simple soup/toastie lunches.
Lise will be in the exhibition on August 25th between 2-4pm.
