Join us in FOLD, our contemporary craft & design store, for a special meet-the-maker and pop-up shop with local basket weaver Helen Jackson. Helen will bring her latest woven work and be on hand to chat about her ‘making journey’ and processes, through on-site demonstrations.

Helen has been practising basket weaving for over 12 years and uses traditional techniques of willow basketmaking whilst exploring new forms and ideas the material offers. She is a member of the Scottish Basketmakers’ Circle (SBC), the Basketmakers’ Association (BA), the Heritage Crafts Association (HCA) and the Heckleburn Quines (HQ); an artist and makers’ collective based in Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
