Looping is an ancient basketry technique found throughout the world. It starts with stringmaking, and is similar in some ways to knitting and crochet, but precedes the development of those techniques. It requires a minimum of tools or equipment, and is a slow but satisfying process.
During the weekend Anna Corbett will use fibre plants to explore variations of the technique to create structures such as a bag, bowl or pouch.
This extended weekend workshop is an opportunity to develop your basketry skills linked
to the rhythm of the seasons.
Suitable for beginners and more experienced makers; small group for individual attention.

Friday: 1 – 4pm, Saturday: 10 – 4, Sunday: 10 – 4.
