Join Rachel Kirk at Branklyn Garden for an introduction to willow weaving workshop

In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn how to weave a garlic basket with step-by-step instructions. Garlic baskets are a beautiful addition to the kitchen and can also be used in the garden as a bird feeder.

This workshop is the perfect introduction to basketry techniques for beginners and will be led by Rachel Kirk of Rachel’s Willow Designs, a basketmaker and willow sculptor based in Abernethy.

All materials and tools are included, and refreshments will be provided.

Following the workshop why not have a wander around the garden, enjoy a light lunch in our tearoom or partake in a spot of retail therapy in our plant and gift shop.

Please note that the workshop will be held inside Branklyn House, there are six steps to negotiate to access the interior of the house.
