Ideal Living reinvents the home with a new perspective on design showrooms. The Glasgow-based exhibition invites attendees to ‘live’ in the space, using the objects on display like their own homes. It is a showcase of talented makers presented through an immersive and interactive showroom design. Kind of like Ikea but all handmade- I really can’t wait to see all the other fantastic makers’ work, pick it up, handle it (that’s the idea- less hands off and more ‘see what it feels like’) and meet people at the opening on Saturday, to which you are all invited too. Anna Liebmann has made a cylindrical bedroom basket and will have some smaller work too.
