Hermione Toulson of Weaving In The Wild will be teaching a two day frame basket workshop as part of the Great Scottish Craft Hoolie, hosted and organised by Green Aspirations. During this two day workshop we will explore the basics of frame basket making including various different constructions and ways of starting the basket, incorporating your handle and securing the ribs. You’ll learn how to prepare and work with willow, and go home with a basket perfect for foraging, gardening, or picnics!

This workshop is designed for beginners, but would also be suitable for more experienced weavers who would like to explore frame techniques.
