Lizzie Farey’s practice concentrates on wood and willow, which she harvests once a year from her willow field in Kirkcudbrightshire. Her work also incorporates foraged larch twigs, pussy willow, rushes, reeds and bog myrtle.

“I grew up surrounded by countryside, developing a deep love and fascination for woodlands, coastal paths, and remote places. Natural forms provide both the foundation and inspiration for my work.” – Lizzie Farey
