Over the course of the day, you’ll learn the basics of Zarzo basketry: making a tension tray, creating concentric loops, and tying a simple but beautiful handle. Zarzo baskets originates in Northern Spain, where they were used for cheese straining, but they also make brilliant flower and herb gathering and drying baskets, but are also great for serving and displaying fruit and bread among other things.

This session is suitable for beginners and intermediates alike, all tools and materials provided.
