In this one-day workshop you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the ancient craft of willow weaving with Bramblethorn Baskets.
In this friendly workshop we will be learning to make a small asymmetrical basket with handle.
I will guide you through the process of selecting your willow, weaving the base and some basic techniques for weaving the sides and folding down a border. We will talk about shaping your basket and the different ways you can add a handle. This will be a small class of around 6 people so there will be plenty of time for questions and one-to-one tuition.
