Two SBC members are participating in North East Open Studios in Moray this year, Catherine Stables of BaskArtry, & Karen Collins of Naturally Useful.

Catherine Stables (BaskArtry) will be opening her workshop doors in Keith, venue 49. Catherine is a basketmaker specialising in willow to weave functional, creative and sculptural pieces.

Catherine is also a wildlife and portrait artist and will have pictures, prints and copies of her books for sale. For opening times & directions visit the NEOS website.

Karen Collins’ work with Naturally Useful produces heritage crafts from natural materials. Beautifully functional pieces from willow, wool & plant dyes are crafted with care.
