Barfad Willow is a small willow growing business based in Ardfern, Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland.

Brown Willow
​Seventeen varieties of willow are grown providing a range of sizes, textures and colours. The species have been chosen from the hundreds of varieties available for their attractive colours and textures.

Living Willow Rods
Due to prohibitive transport costs I no longer post out living willow – although I do still grow small amounts for collection from Barfad. Sometimes it’s possible to arrange delivery to places further away via our own trips away or kind friends, so please ask if you are interested in ordering.
Living Rods are one year old lengths of willow that can be planted. They can be used to make fedges (a cross between a fence and a hedge), tunnels, domes and all kinds of living willow sculptures and furniture.

Pegs
Pegs are short 30cm cuttings sold at 60p each. They will become available as soon as the leaves drop in November 2025. I cut to order and it’s best to get your order in early as the window of availability is quite short.
