30th March 2025.

Bolton Village Hall, Northumberland.

Join Anna Corbett for a day of random weaving, taking inspiration from birds, the experts at nest- building, who are busy at this time of year. Using a combination of soft fibres and more structural materials, we will construct baskets inspired by the ideas of nests. They can be open, like a bowl, or closed, like a ball or sphere.
This style allows lots of room for improvisation and your own creative interpretation, with support to develop your ideas. We will use a range of plant materials gathered and grown in Northumberland, as well as decorative threads and strings.
Please bring any of your own handmade string / cordage, as well as other decorative strings, threads or yarns you might like to include.
Suitable for beginners and more experienced makers.

10am to 4pm. Standard rate £90 (low income £80)
Please choose your own level of payment according to your income.
