Applications for QEST craft funding are now open.

QEST offers three grants to support makers and conservators at various career stages, strengthening the pipeline of talented craft professionals in the UK. They provide funding for education and training, with Scholarships of up to £18,000, Emerging Maker grants of up to £10,000, and up to £12,000 towards an apprentice’s salary. Successful Scholars also get a place on the Cockpit Studios Professional Development Programme.

Since 1990, QEST has awarded £7 million to almost 900 individuals, thanks to the generous support of its donors. Supporting a broad range of disciplines, including glassblowing, thatching, guitar making, sign writing, and ceramics, these grants offer a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop their craft practice.
