West Moss Side Farm, Thornhill.

This is the second in-person meeting of our new regional basket makers’ group. Anyone who makes baskets relatively regularly as a hobby or a profession is welcome.

We’ll learn how to strip willow bark, and share bark weaving techniques using some of last year’s bark harvest to experiment with. If you know some techniques already, please come ready to share them if you want to!

We’d like to continue the group’s tradition of an (optional) pot-luck shared lunch, so please do bring some food to share if you’d like to (no pressure, just bring a packed lunch if you’d rather do your own thing!).

11am to 4pm, Free of charge, but please book a place.
