In this day-long workshop you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the ancient craft of willow weaving with Catherine Dalzell from Bramblethorn Baskets.

In this workshop we will be learning to make a small berry basket with handle.

I will guide you through the process of selecting your willow, weaving the base and some basic techniques for weaving the sides and folding down a border. We will talk about shaping your basket and the different ways you can add a handle. This will be a small class of around 6 people so there will be plenty of time for questions and one-to-one tuition.
