about

I took up basket making whilst living in Scotland in the late 1990s and was lucky enough to have Lise Bech as my first teacher. After moving back to England, I built a willow playhouse for my 2 yr old daughter. That led to commissions and eventually to basketry becoming a full-time occupation. I teach across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. I still miss Edinburgh and discovered recently that my ancestors lived in St James Square – where the new John Lewis now stands!
